Are you a good communicator who loves to help people learn to study and share God’s Word? Many people groups are oral-based societies and are thus more able to understand and respond to an oral presentation of the Bible.

Stories are easy for nationals to learn and share orally, and often incorporate drama, songs and visual arts. Through your ministry, you can help people grow in faith as they hear the scripture in their heart language. Join our Baka or Kwakum teams in OBS!

We are looking for people interested in working with a national organization, CABTAL, as they assist mother-tongue speakers in developing their alphabets and writing systems.

You will have the opportunity to provide linguistic expertise to project workers through assistance in training and mentoring. You will help build the capacity of nationals to prepare literacy materials, including primers and dictionaries. You will also help mother-tongue speakers translate the Scriptures into their language.

Workers are needed to engage the Baka and Kwakum people, young and old, in reading and writing their own language. You will join the exciting team of church planters and will learn the language and culture of the Baka or Kwakum people.

Literacy will allow these groups to read and study for themselves and will help them participate in translating the Bible into their own language.

Promote the health and care of animals as part of a holistic church planting team among the Fulbe. Use your experience and training to show how we can be good stewards of the things God has entrusted to us and teach Biblical principles of how God cares even about the birds of the field. Develop and teach animal husbandry practices that will help provide livelihood and economic benefit for the people and their community.

Live in community and disciple new believers among the Baka, while encouraging and training maturing believers.

Equipping and empowering national leaders is an essential part of establishing churches that will grow and multiply. Ideal candidates will be authentic, humble servant-leaders who can teach developing leaders to follow Christ in servant-leadership.

Use your love of sports, fitness and physical well-being to build into the spiritual lives of the Baka people! You will lead young and old alike in a well-equipped outdoor gym in the middle of a Baka village.

Lead Bible studies, pray with people and organize sports-related outreach to other Baka villages.

Are you someone who has a passion for helping bring healing to both the body and the soul? Our holistic church-planting teams are looking for nurses, nutritionists, and public health workers.

Adaptability and flexibility are essential as you will be working with less than perfect equipment and systems. Your ministry may also include rural home follow-up, training and discipleship opportunities. Opportunities available among the Baka, Kwakum, or Fulbe.

Come work among the Fulbe where your gifts in teaching, discipleship, organization, counseling and mentoring can bless many women who are hungry for spiritual encouragement. 

We need flexible, relational and team-oriented women to develop a discipleship ministry that can be multiplied.
