Pursue your Master’s degree at a Minority University while you build friendships with students and serve alongside a local team of long-term workers. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and have at least intermediate Chinese language skills.

The program may take more than two years to complete.

Are you interested in forming discipleship relationships through community center interactions? We are looking for teachers who have an understanding of how people teach and learn in different cultures. Come join our holistic church planting team, working in the Guera region.

The role includes developing a Cultural Center to meet the educational needs of the people they serve. Workers will need to be flexible and responsive to the felt needs within the community and be a learner themselves, willing to research new subjects so that they can converse on a variety of topics being taught within the center. The Center leader will be expected to manage the calendar, as well as the other teachers, trainers or workers.

Are you interested in forming discipleship relationships through agriculture? We are looking for people with training and experience to join our holistic church planting team working in the Guera region.

We are specifically seeking those who understand the unique attributes of the Sahel region, including how to create irrigation systems. This person must be willing to spend a great deal of time studying and learning from trained experts and local people concerning current agricultural practices. This person must also be self-motivated and willing to learn with and teach those in the community.

Are you interested in forming discipleship relationships as you help people with physical illness? Individuals trained in medical disciplines are needed for our holistic church planting team working in the Guera region.

Workers should have a knowledge of the issues involved in practicing medicine in Africa, particularly in rural areas. We are proposing that this team member become familiar with the Life Abundant Program (a community-based health care program) and discern how best to pursue a similar initiative in Chad. Medical workers will serve with a local health clinic and visit nearby villages to help identify community health issues and develop solutions. Training members of local communities in basic healthcare practices and preventatives will be part of the role.

Are you a mature Christian with strong leadership and interpersonal skills? Do you have a desire to share Christ in response to the work of grace in your own life? We are looking for a leader who will help mobilize and then oversee a team of workers for a new ministry in the Guera region.

As a leader, you will engage in the beginning stages of developing this new ministry. This role needs a wise, humble, experienced, disciplined and intentional learner.

Do you have a desire to see churches planted among unreached Muslims? Are you drawn to hard-to-reach places?

We are looking for people with practical or technical skills who are interested in building relationships among unreached communities in the Guera region. Join a team of like-minded people interested in sharing the love of Christ. Our goal is that through effective evangelism and discipleship, churches will be planted and multiplied. Are you interested in forming discipleship relationships through community development? Do you enjoy fixing things and finding creative solutions? Would you be interested in helping the people of the Guera Region find simple ways to use methane as an alternative fuel?

We are looking for a handyman of sorts with the gift of helps to oversee the biogas project while also being available to help the other members of the team with household projects. Expectations include experimenting with different local materials to make and feed digesters, as well as different types of cookstoves that use methane efficiently. As you progress, you will work with, train and develop discipleship relationships with members of the local community.
