David Brainerd: Short Life, Eternal Impact
David Brainerd said, “Nothing seems too hard for God to perform, nothing too great for me to hope from Him.” Often David was weak from lack of food, and from spitting up blood from tuberculosis, a disease of the lungs. Sometimes he was so miserable that he wanted to die. Yet he knew God was with him.
Hindus Trade Their Idols For God’s Love
Marijke told Nadira, “After 23 years of going through religious rituals, I am not satisfied with my life. I have no genuine peace, only inner turmoil.” Marijke was searching for what could bring her hope and joy. Nadira told her that Jesus could forgive her sins and give her everlasting peace.
The baby came too early!

In the south of France, the high Alps come down out of Switzerland and throw themselves into the Mediterranean sea. Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists pass through these mountains to ski in the winter and hike in the summer. Often the world famous bicycle race, Le Tour de France, passes through this region. It is a severe test of will and strength to peddle to the top of these hills. Theyre on the edge of a shining mountain lake in the village of Embrun, Baptiste grew up dreaming of becoming a professional bicycle racer himself.

It’s exciting to be in a new place. We get to meet new people, see new things, try new food, and learn new ways of doing things. God is very creative. He made many different cultures and places. It is fun to see that.

There are very few times in my life that I feel like I have jumped into the Bible and begun to act it out, but meeting Anna was like that. First of all, we went to visit her at her house. Anna was at a prayer meeting and the children did not know where the meeting was.
